No
charge to participate. We assign squares as they are available,
and will consider your size and location requests if possible. If you
wish to be guaranteed a square of a specific size you must provide a sponsor

Check in between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. the day of the event. If you have not begun work by 11:15 a.m. your reserved space will be assigned to someone from the wait-list.
Festival Standards and Information are part of the artistic challenge. Work that does not meet the standards will not be eligible for any of the cash awards. Click here for Standards and Awards.

Deadline to apply is September 19. Applications received after that date will be added to the waitlist in the order received.
If you are waitlisted but are notified before the day of the event that a square is available you will be considered a fully registered applicant and must arrive before 11 a.m. Otherwise, you will be assigned a number, and squares will be assigned by number as they become available the day of the event, starting at 11:30 a.m.
ONE application PER SQUARE. If you are bringing a team, put the name, address, and email of the contact person on the form; include information on the rest of the team on the back of the application or provide it later. We must have complete and legible contact information on participants in order to write award checks and provide accurate publicity.
Provide your email address. Official confirmations and square size will be sent by surface mail shortly before the event, but we will email information sooner and more often.
